Pedro Pascal Shows Off Arms, Blows Kisses and Sticks Out Tongue at Cannes — and the Internet Has Thoughts (2025)

It’s Pedro Pascal’s world — we’re just living in it!

As he often does, the Last of Us actor made a splash at the Cannes Film Festival, arriving in style and being his typical playful self, quickly sending fans into a frenzy online.

On Saturday, May 17, Pascal, 50, stepped out to the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France, for the festival with the cast of his upcoming film Eddington in a simple black outfit that, as the internet quickly noticed, made his arms the primary focus.

For the Eddington photo call, Pascal wore black trousers, studded dress shoes and — the star of the show — a black muscle tank top that revealed not only his arms, but also a side view of his torso.

Like costars Emma Stone, Joaquin Phoenix and Austin Butler, the actor also leveled up his look — and thwarted the French sun — with a stylish pair of sunglasses for part of the photo call. But all eyes were on his arm-revealing outfit, which earned some serious praise online after the event.

Alongside snaps of the actor hugging someone and resting his hand on costar Stone’s back, a user on X wrote, “My new religion is pedro pascal’s arms.”

"Pedro Pascal has been massively serving at #CannesFilmFestival so far,” a different X user wrote, adding that “the other men don’t stand a CHANCE!”

“Yeah,” another user simply captioned a collection of pictures from the photo call, which amassed thousands of likes on X.

In replies to a photo of the actor smiling slyly at the festival, his arms on full display, users wrote things like, “He knows what he is doing,” and “I feel like a Victorian man catching a glimpse of an ankle.”

Several people also remarked that their social media feeds were consumed by photos of Pascal and his arms. But it wasn’t just the bicep-revealing ensemble that made waves — it was also the star’s silly and affectionate behavior.

Fans shared several videos of Pascal’s antics at the famed festival, where the actor could be seen laughing and playfighting with Phoenix, 50, smiling with Stone, 36, and — as per usual — being the life of the party.

At various points, the Mandalorian actor blew kisses, playfully stuck out his tongue and snapped selfies with his costars. He also struck one of the star’s signature poses, throwing up a peace sign at the star-studded photo call.

Pascal’s cheeky appearance at the Eddington evet comes one day after he, Stone and Butler, 33, made headlines for their run-in with a bee on the Cannes carpet.

On Friday, May 16, the Eddington stars were on the red carpet for the premiere of the Ari Aster-directed film when a bee crashed their photo-op. In a clip shared by Variety, Stone noticed and pointed to a bee flying just overhead, and subsequently stopped posing to recoil with a laugh.

Luckily, her castmates came to the rescue, with Butler blowing in the bee’s direction and Pascal swatting at it, and the group appeared to escape the insect unscathed.
